Things Jesus can do for you

Christ has done a lot for you and he can help you to walk into all these blessings and benefits.

Revelation 5:12 says that the lamb was slain to receive POWER and RICHES and WISDOM and STRENGTH and HONOUR and GLORY and BLESSING. All these seven-fold benefits are given to all believers to enable them rule and reign as kings and priests on earth. Rev. 5:10.

Let us look at all this great benefits one by one.

1. POWER You need the power of God to live peaceably in this world, where there are lots of evil powers. Eph. 6:12 says “We wrestle not against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. But as many as received Jesus Christ he “give power to become the son of God” John 1:12. If you do not have the weapon of God, you will not be able to withstand the power of the enemy.

2. RICHES Isaiah 48:17 “Thus says the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel , I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit”. Jesus Christ was rich but he became poor that you might be rich 2 Corinthians. 8:9. When you get hold of him, riches is certain.

3. WISDOM Wisdom comes from God. He gave Solomon wisdom and made him the wisest king through all ages. It is written that “Jesus was filled with wisdom” Luke 2:10. He is able to give to you anything you ask from him.

4. STRENGTH Paul says in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me”. The day you surrender to him, he will give you the enabling strength to perform his will. You cannot do much by your own power; you need the power of God.

5. HONOUR Honour and majesty belongs to God. He has however promised that he will honour those that honoured him. 1 Sam 2:30, Johnm12:26.

6. GLORY Jesus Christ is the glory of God John 1:14. The Bible says that the purpose of his suffering is to bring many sons to glory” Hebrews 2:10.

7. BLESSING Ephesians 1:3 says” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

The blessing of God comes through your believing and receiving Jesus Christ. By him you also have power over sin and death. He ensures you victory everyday 2 Corinthians 2:14, he leads you to your hope and expectations and guide you to the heavenly kingdom when you die. 2 Timothy 4:18.
